This privacy policy is published by Overtune to answer common questions about how we collect, store, and use data when you visit our site or purchase a license. It is not a legal opinion, regulatory certification, or guarantee of compliance with any specific law.

What we collect

When you purchase Overtune, we collect the information needed to fulfill your order and deliver your license:

• Email address. Used to send transactional messages like order confirmations and receipts.
• Payment information. Card and billing details are handled by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
• Session details. The date and time you book and the Discord username you provide, so we can run your session.
• Order and webhook records. Stripe payment events are logged so we can reconcile deliveries and troubleshoot issues.

How we use your data

We use the data above only to:

• Process your payment and deliver your license.
• Activate and validate the Overtune app on your PC.
• Send transactional email related to your purchase.
• Prevent fraud and abuse of the licensing system.
• Keep records required for tax, accounting, and dispute resolution.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data for advertising profiling.

Cookies and analytics

Our site uses only the cookies and local storage required for site functionality, checkout, and authentication. We do not run third-party advertising or behavioral-analytics cookies. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this page and provide an opt-out where required.

Subprocessors and integrations

We rely on a small number of service providers to operate the site and deliver your purchase:

• Stripe — payment processing and fraud prevention.
• Resend — transactional email delivery.
• Supabase — database, authentication, and license-key storage.

These providers process data according to their own privacy policies and service terms. We choose integrations that support secure, encrypted data handling, but we cannot guarantee their practices beyond what they publish.

Data retention and deletion

We keep license records and order logs for as long as necessary to provide support, enforce licensing, and meet legal record-keeping requirements. If you want your email or other personal data removed, email us at support@overtune.net. We will delete what we can, but we may need to retain some records for licensing, fraud-prevention, or legal reasons.

Security

We require valid signatures for payment webhooks and never store card details — payments are handled entirely by Stripe. The Overtune platform layer is built to protect routine data, but no online service is completely immune to risk.

Your privacy choices

You can:

• Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct inaccurate information.
• Ask us to delete your personal data, subject to legal and licensing retention limits.
• Opt out of any future marketing emails by following the unsubscribe link.
